2020 Speedworks Motorsport NZ & TRS Championships

Over 5 weekends ImageNZ provided the outside broadcast facilities for the 2020 Castrol Toyota Racing Series for Volt Media and Speedworks Events – about 65hrs of live coverage on Sky Sport 5. Our amazing team supplied 16 cameras including wireless and effects cameras, live commentary, interview positions along the pit area, graphics, highlights and replays, across 5 racing tracks from Pukekohe to the world’s southernmost race track at Teretonga, Invercargill.

Audi Quattro Winter Games

New Zealand 

The Audi quattro Winter Games New Zealand is an elite international Winter sports event. This will be the sixth edition of the Games, taking place during August and September in Queenstown, Wanaka and Naseby.

Happy Hour

Happy Hour is a new variety show starting  Starring Temuera Morrison, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Thane Kirby and the Modern Maori Quartet. Recorded in front of a live audience at the Mercury Theatre in central Auckland, the show features musical numbers, comedy skits and a talent segment. Happy Hour was recorded using Image NZ’s OB facilities including 7x Cameras & a Jimmy Jib. Recording was via our new AJA KiPro HDD recorders in Avid DNxHD codec along with an EDL generated via the Panasonic HS410 vision mixer and the EDL Generator hardware/software package.

Barfoot and Thompson Badminton NZ Open

The 2019 New Zealand Open was the eleventh tournament of the 2019 BWF World Tour and also part of the New Zealand Open championships which had been held since 1990. This tournament was organized by the Badminton New Zealand and sanctioned by the BWF.

Indoor Cricket World Cup

The Indoor Cricket World Cup 2014 was recently held in Lower Hutt, Wellington in New Zealand.  There were seven countries that participated, namely Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Wales, England, India and Singapore. The Australians met New Zealand in all 4 Grand finals and once again dominated the Tournament by taking all 4 titles again.

Wisden Cup

The  prestigious Wisden Cup is  Badminton New Zealand’s yearly provincial team Championships featuring  teams from Auckland, North Harbour, Waitakere, Waikato, Wellington North and Canterbury.

Horse of the Year

The annual Land Rover Horse of the Year show is New Zealand’s premier equestrian competition, featuring a range of horse and rider combinations from multiple disciplines. With over 1600 riders and 1800 horses competing for lucrative titles and prize money, the show is a feature on all equestrian calendars.

Western Springs Speedway

Speedway events take place at the stadium from early November through to mid March. Speedway activities have been under threat in recent years due to complaints and legal action from a local residents group. Currently speedway events are limited to 12 events per season.

SeaPort Festival

Ports of Auckland’s SeePort Festival is a three-day celebration of Auckland City’s beautiful waterfront and rich maritime heritage. The family-friendly festival is one of New Zealand’s largest free events, returning in 2019 for its sixth year of seaside fun.

Polyfest

The ASB Polyfest features traditional music, dance, costume and cultural speech competitions, and is one of the most recognised events on the Auckland calendar. It’s a showcase of New Zealand’s diverse cultures and a celebration of youth performance.

Christmas in the Park

The Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park production as the largest free annual event at Auckland Domain. The country’s top singers, dancers and musicians are getting ready to ignite the big stage, performing all-time Christmas favourites and hits! 

Drax Project Live at Auckland Town Hall

Seven camera shoot at ‘Drax Project’ concert July 2019 at Auckland Town Hall. ImageNZ recorded the entire live event from 7 different angles in the best video and audio quality with our Outside Broadcast Van. The two-hour show sold out to the last place.
